Amangiri Camp Sarika in the desert

If getting away from it all for a while sounds like a dream then Camp Sarika is here to serve you.
From Amangiri, a five-minute drive across the desert leads to an eerie landscape of soaring mesas, slit canyons and rust-sand beaches to Camp Sarika, a unique entry point into the wilderness of the Old West with three national parks and the nearby Navajo Nation Preserve
Nestled in the midst of 1,483 acres of wilderness in the middle of the Utah desert, Camp Sarika holds a maximum of 30 guests in 10 tented pavilions, meaning you’ll get to have all that space nearly to yourself.

Each room have a spacious outdoor terrace with a heated pool, comfortable fire pit area and binoculars.  Spacious, well-lit communal Spaces with wet and dry bars, dining areas and cleverly hidden televisions. As well as spa-linked bathrooms with deep soaking tubs and indoor and outdoor showers.  The idiosyncrasie tent walls, custom-designed leather and walnut details and matte black fixtures and finishes are inspired by the surrounding undulating plains and recall traditional camping elements.

At the camp, come experience solitude, take a hike at the five nearby national parks including Zion, Grand Canyon, and Bryce, or try your hand at canyoneering or horseback riding. Guests at Camp Sarika can even arrange private tours by plane, helicopter, or hot air balloon to get a view of all of Mother Nature’s beautiful work from above. All this feels rather fitting when you learn the word Sarika is derived from the Sanskrit word for “open space” and “sky.”
